Refunds, Shipping & Tax

1. Scope
This Refunds, Shipping & Tax page applies to all purchases made through dkrayatna. By placing an order on this website, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set out in this notice.
2. Made-to-Order Production
All products offered by dkrayatna are made to order. Production begins only after an order has been placed and payment has been received. Processing and production times typically range from five 5-10 business days before an order is shipped.
Products are printed and embroidered locally in Helsinki, Finland. Items are screen-printed by hand using water-based inks by a local printer, and embroidered items, including tatreez pieces, are completed by hand. Due to the handcrafted nature of the production process, minor variations may occur, and production timelines may vary. Delivery times may be longer for international orders depending on the destination country and local postal services.
3. Shipping
dkrayatna operates as a small independent business based in Helsinki, Finland, and all orders are shipped from Finland. Shipping costs reflect standard shipping rates from Finland and the realities of small-batch, low-volume shipping.
Estimated delivery times provided at checkout or elsewhere on the website are indicative only and do not constitute a guarantee. We ship worldwide where possible; however, certain destinations may not be serviceable due to shipping carrier restrictions, regulatory limitations, or other external factors. If we are unable to ship an order to the selected destination after purchase, the customer will be contacted to arrange an appropriate solution.
4. Customs, Taxes and Import Fees
For orders shipped outside the European Union, import duties, customs fees, value-added tax (VAT), or other local charges may be imposed by the destination country. Such charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost and are payable by the recipient.
dkrayatna does not control customs authorities or procedures and cannot predict, influence, or reimburse customs-related charges or delays.
5. Returns and Exchanges
At this time, dkrayatna does not accept returns. We are actively working on developing a returns solution that aligns with our made-to-order production model and sustainable values.
Exchanges are not offered.
6. Refunds
Refunds are only considered in cases where a product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. In such situations, dkrayatna will work with the customer to find a fair and reasonable solution. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a replacement or a refund, at the discretion of dkrayatna.
To report an issue, customers must contact us at hei@dkrayatna.com and include their order number, a description of the issue, and photographs where applicable.
